Quick guide for foreigns
Wellcome to brazilian division of VATSIM, VATBRZ.
This guide was made to help foreign pilots flying inside Brazilian Airspace and here you'll find all information about especific rules.
» UNICOM: Inside Brazilian Airspace, the UNICOM frequency is 123.450 via text (mandatory). If you want use via voice (Server/Channel: rw.liveatc.net/123.450), you must use text too.
» Charts: Brazil have the Real World AIP on-line, with all airports available. Also are available, Enroute and Flight Plan charts. You must visit http://charts.vatsim.com.br to get updated files.
» Airspace: Brazilian Airspace is divided in FIR's, SBBS - Brasilia, SBRE - Recife, SBAO - Atlantic, SBCW - Curitiba and SBAZ - Amazonic.
» Atlantic FIR (SBAO) Frquencies used in virtual: Main: 118.95 Mhz / Secondary: 118.60 Mhz
» Arrivals and Departures in Guarulhos (SBGR):
Rwy 09L/R - Landings at 09R and departures at 09L.
Rwy 27L/R - Landings at 27L and departures at 27R.
» Arrivals and Departures in Rio - Galeão (SBGL):
Rwy 15/10 - Landings at 15 and departures at 10.
Rwy 28/33 - Landings at 28 and departures at 33.
» Arrivals and Departures in Brasilia (SBBR):
Rwy 11L/R - Landings at 11L and departures at 11R.
Rwy 29L/R - Landings at 29R and departures at 29L.
